Hello!

I didn´t expect any work today but then she called at 7.20 and asked if could be at a school at 8.10. So it was just to rush and put clothes and away. It was a good day, a class of second graders. Nice ones and it´s all week so it´s going to be fun to get to know them a little more :)

Now I have to study and later I´ll pick my little brother up in Visby. Tonight it´s Biggest Loser and Ullared on TV, yey :D

Now I´m home after a long day. Been to Visby a couple of hours and been walking around looking at all the Christmas stuff. It was really nice and mom´s choir were singing at different places and it was a lot of people! Here are some pics from today!

The first of advent

Hey there :)

Today it´s the first of advent and we lit the first candle this morning at breakfast! As usual I and Mattias had a fight about who is going to lit the first one, the last on etc. Now we just do it for fun, but the discussion is always there, just for tradition! Soon we´re going to Visby for the fair and mom is going to sing and then tonight we´re both going to sing in the church! Going to be a lot of fun today :)

Hello :)

Today has been a really nice day and we have been hanging out the whole family! Henrik was here for lunch and then we cleaned and baked lussekatter in the afternoon all of us together!

Then we put up the Christmas lights in our windows so now you can really feel that Christmas is coming :) Love this time of year! Tomorrow we´re going to Visby. The first Sunday in Decemeber there is like a fair there. All the stores put up nice decorations in the windows and it´s like a kick off for Christmas. A lot of people come there and it´s a nice tradition to go there, get some candy and "julmust" and meet people you know :)

Christmas spirit

Hello :)

Slept in a little bit today, then I and mommy cleaned all the windows in the kitchen. She did the hard work and I the easy, haha :P But I did clean some of the cupboards too, and then I made lunch for us. My big brother Henrik shower up for lunch too, really nice to see him :)
I think we´re going to make lussekatter later, and if we do, I´ll take some pics. But here is a pic from last year when I baked with my kids :)

Hello :)

All of my Swedish readers will get the title, but probably not the English ones :P Basically it´s an expression for a lazy Friday evening that has become very popular here! We had tacos for dinner tonight, now we just came home from a walk, really nice to take a walk after dinner :) Now we´re getting ready for candy and popcorn on the couch and Idol on TV!

Work today was good, first we had like 27 kids but after an hour it was like 7 kids and in the end it was one. Not that hard :P

Tomorrow we´re going to clean some and bake "lussekatter". I´ll put up pics of that to show you!

No work today, I´ve been studying for a little bit and soon I might go to Visby to pick my little brother up. He only had one class today, lucky him. Well, maybe he wants to spend some time with me when he gets home :) That would be nice!
Don´t have any plans for today, take a walk and maybe clean something. I should so I have something to do!

Sunrise

Goodmorning!

This morning when I ate my oatmeal I looked out the window and saw the beautiful colors on the sky. And I was like: Oh, I have to shoot this, to my brother. I ran up upstairs, put some clothes on and then I took my car down to a field to get some nice pics!
It was like the most beautiful sunrise ever, so gorgeous with some clouds and really nice colors. Pics will come later today!
If we had got that sunrise at the Grand Canyon, I´m just saying, Oh my god that would have been beautiful. But I´m happy with what I got that day too :)

Choir practice

Hello!

We had choir practice tonight. We´re going to sing in a church on Sunday so it was the last one before that. I still have to learn some lyrics, but I think it´ll go well! We´re pretty good, haha :P
Really looking forward to this weekend since it´s the first of advent! We can put up stars and lights in the windows and get the Christmas feelings going, yey :D

One month to Christmas

Hi there!

Just saw the date and figured it´s only one month left until Christmas Eve :) So exciting, I´m going to celebrate a Swedish Christmas again! I´m going to enjoy that, but also miss my family in the states. We had such a nice Christmas last year, haha, we set up toys for the kids all day :P No, but it was really good and I´m going to miss it that way too.

I think I´ll clean something today too, it keeps me busy and it´s needed now before Christmas anyway!

Confusion

Goodmorning!

I´ve aldready been up for a couple of hours. I think I´m really doing good with this, even though I don´t get any work I´m still up doing things. I´ve just finished todays studying, it was really interesting :)

Yesterday I was looking at different schools and programs for next fall. I´m planning to start studying you know, but I have no idea what. There is basically two ideas in my had. English and Teacher. I really want to read English, but I figured that to do the program I want it´ll take me years. Which means I probably wont feel like doing the teacher too and then it´s only going to be English and I don´t know if I want that. I wanted to do both of them. Now I think I have to choose and it´s so hard. The first thing I did was looking up exactly how much I have to read for the English thing. I sent an email that I´m getting an answer on today! Then we´ll see I guess. Wow, as I said, a lot of thoughs here :P

Time for some more breakfast, I´m really hungry!

Hi there!

Now I´m finally done cleaning that room I started with. It took all day but I did a really good job, it has probably never been that clean in like 2 years or so :P Now when the room is all clean I am all messy instead, it´s like all the dirt got on me. I think I´m going to take a shower soon :)

Tonight it´s Ullared on TV, yey! I´m actually liking that show, really Swedish one :P Love it!

A new week, 6 days until advent

Goodmorning :)

I was up early today but I didn´t get any work so I´ve been studying for a couple of hours. Now it´s actually starting to get really interesting so I enjoy it! Now I´m going to clean for a while and I´m going to try to take a walk today!

Yesterday I was sitting looking at apartments in Göteborg. I´m really longing for going, the problem is though, I don´t have any money to pay for an apartment. It sucks. Hopefully I´ll have enough by February or so. Really want to get away from here for a while. I just love te dream and look at apartments and think, maybe that´s the one :P

Swimming and waffles

Hello :)

I home again after swimming with Maria. It was really nice to get in the water for once. I think I swam more than 1 kilometer or something like that! Then we went to her place for a while and had some banana and talked :)

When I came home I made waffles for dinner. I know that´s kind of weird but that was the only thing I could come up with. It was good, we ate like 25 waffles together, haha! They were soooo good :) I should have taken pictures but I didn´t, sorry!

Tonight we´re going to watch Filip and Fredrik, my favorites :)

Pancakes

Hi there :)

We just had pancakes for dinner, yummie!! I made them in our new pan and it´s really big so they were like twice as big as usual. Still the tasted the same :)

Tonight we´re going to watch the premiere of Robinson and then there is this movie, don´t know it´s name, haha :P Wow, just saw that Robinson starts in 10 minutes so I´m going to get ready to snuggle on the couch!

Christmas fair

Hello!

This morning I went to a Christmas fair that was close to our home. I´ve always been to that one and sometimes I help selling lottery tickets there. I didn´t have any money so I couldn´t buy anything but I talked to the people there. And it´s nice just to go and look! Next weekend it´s the first of advent. Can´t wait to put up candles and lights everywhere! Love that :)

Now I´ve just been outside for a little bit mowing the lawn. Or actually the leafs. I can´t believe I´m sitting on the lawnmower in November though. Feels a little bit weird to me. Now I´m going to clean a little bit I think. I´m still working on some of the cupboards in the kitchen and when I´m done with that I´ll take some of our shelfs on the second floor. There is a lot to clean before Christmas!

I just read through the first post I wrote on this blog and it is such a long time ago. I can´t even believe I wrote them. I miss that time so much, it was March when I started the blog and that was before I realized I had to go home to Sweden. The time when I was living the American life the fullest and with no doubts. It was a good time and I´m glad I have a lot of memories from there!

Hello!

I´m not feeling so good today. When I woke up it felt like I had a little bit of fever and my throat is all thick and hurting. It feels a little better now so I don´t know what crap it is. I didn´t get any work today anyway so I can just enjoy being home taking care of myself :) Not going to do so much I think, in one way I feel energtic though, so maybe I´ll clean or bake something! I should bake something, but what? Hm, maybe chocolate chip cookies, I´ll go to the store, haha! We´ll see I guess :)

November last year

Hello!

I´ve been working until 1.30, then I went home and took a walk. I wanted to go before it got dark and I walked four about 50 minutes :)
Now I´m going to study a little bit and tonight I´m planning on watching a lot of TV. First there is Biggest Loser, then SOS GUTE, then Glee. It´s like three hours of TV, haha! But what else do I have to do?

Biggest Loser

Hello :)

Just watched Biggest Loser on TV and I couldn´t figure what season it was so I had to check it out. You know, when I left the US, it was season 8 starting over there. Now, it turns out that the season they´re showing here is season 3!! How is that even possible? I thought the should at least be at season 5 or 6. Haha, it´s just weird and confusing. But anyway, I just watched season 6 and 7 so I like watching this too, doesn´t really matter to me. I wish I could watch the new season though, it was so exciting when I left, but seems like there is now way to watch it in this county, blaaa!

I got work tomorrow and I´m going back to a place I were last week. Feels good since I know the school and remember some of the kids :) So it´ll be a good day!

Mom and I went for a walk in town, it was really nice and the weather was okay. We walked for like and hour and then we hade some coffee and fruit before we went home! :)
After lunch I cleaned our dry closet and now it´s all shiny (almost :P). I´ve also been watching Scrubs, reading my book and my big brother came over and chatted a little bit!

Now I´m waiting for Julia to call me! Yey, I want to hear some Gossip from the US!

Back from work

Hello!

I´m home now and it has been a long day. My head feels a little heavy right now. But it doesn´t really matter because I had so much fun too. Kids really make you happy and you smile constantly!
There was a whole bunch of nice kids there and they all loved me, haha :P Maybe not loved me, but at least they didn´t hate me! Hopefully I will come back there again!

Tonight I´m going for a girl night, it´s like a party for make up and lotion and that kind of stuff! Looking forward to that together with my aunt :)

Sorry for my depressing post this morning. I just felt very, hm, I don´t know. Weird feeling. Anyway, to clear my thougths I decided to do some cleaning. And this time it´s more deep cleaning, you know, before Christmas you have to clean a little extra. So I´ve just been dusting some of the cupboards in our kitchen. Missing the US

I really have a missing the US day today. Just read a long email from my hostmum and saw that my friends had a good weekend. And it sucks that I can´t be there with them. It feels so wrong. I just want to go back there now and keep living my life as I did. It was so good, I didn´t even realize when I was there! Going there was the best thing I´ve ever done, but going home the hardest, I guess that´s the price to pay..

I´m back home again after an awesome weekend at Snäckan :) That´s the place where they had the weekend camp. We´ve been singing all the time, except for food breaks, haha :P That´s the only things we´re doing, singing and eating. It has been a great weekend and I had so much fun. Hey :)

Still having a head ache, but feeling good because I´m sittig here listening to Owl City. Love his songs :D They always makes me happy. I just bought two songs on iTunes so I can have them on my iPod too. That´s the only bad thing with spotify, it´s only on the computer!

A day in Slite

Hello!

I´m home now after working all day. I went to there to start at 9, but when I get there they tell me it´s not until 10, gaah. So I was sitting there waiting for an hour, booring. Then I had three classes, they all went good :) Now I have a head ache, probably didn´t drink enough today.

Tonight I´m going to Klintehamn to sing all weekend. Gospel here I come! I´ve been to the same thing two times before and it´s always been great, so I´m hoping for a good weekend!
This means no blogging this weekend, but it´s going to be nice to take a break from the computer for once. Doesn´t happen to often!

Hello!

I ended up working anyway. She called at 8 and said: Can you teach music today? Music I thought, hm, But I said yes. I´m not so good at music but it turned out good with very nice kids and they knew what they were supposed to do :) Love that kind of teaching, haha! It was kind of a short day, I´m home now and going to help mom with the leaves in our yard, gaah. Don´t feel like it, but I guess I have to be a nice daughter. I am getting free food in this house :P

Nobody called yet, so I guess I´m not going to work today. Instead I´m planning on a couple of hours studying no and later on I´m going to upload pictures. I´m going to contunie to read about web design today. I was going to look at a video, but seems like I haven´t got that CD so I can´t until I know where to fint it. Until then I´m going to read about web design. It is so much fun :)

Studying

Hello!

I have been studying for a couple of hours. I´m now reading about web design and it is very interesting. I don´t know much about so I love to learn how to build your own web site and stuff :) It´s hard to learn all the codes and stuff but a lot of fun!

I´m hoping for work tomorrow, I don´t yet, but hopefully I get called in tomorrow morning. Would be nice to feel that I´m doing something that actually gives me money, haha :P
Btw, did I tell you that everything I work now in November I´m going to get paid for December 23! Oh, yeah, I can´t wait to buy all my Christmas gifts the day before Christmas. That´s going to be soooo much fun(not) :P

Dentist appointment

Hello!

Today I didn´t get any work, which was good since I couldn´t take it anyway. I had a dentist appointment at 10.15. It went well and she just fixed a thing that was a little loose. I have those threads behind my teeth to make sure they´re not moving after I had braces. But everything else looked nice she thought, good :)

After lunch I and mom went for a walk in the rain. It was nice to get out, but a little bit cold. Now I´ve been reading for a while, it´s so nice to snuggle on the couch with a blanket and a book. Now I have to get my laundry and then I´m thinking about uploading the pics from Sunday!

A month

Hi there :)

I took a walk when I came home and that was really nice! When I walked I figured it has already been a month since I came home and left the US. Time just pass so quickly and it´s unbelievable that it´s a month since I kissed and hugged the kids. In one way it feels like it was yesterday we said goodbye, but in another way it was like years ago. Thinking about it is very confusing and just makes me feel weird. I´m really longing to go back there and see them again! Hopefully that will be next summer :)

Long day and different bed

Hello!

It was a long day at grandma and grandpa´s. We ate all the time and it was a long time ago I was this stuffed :P Now we´re home and we just had some scones instead of dinner, much better and so good! My aunt is here too, she is going to sleep in my bed tonight so I´m going to sleep in mom and dad´s room. It´s always cold in there so I´m going to snuggle up with a bunch of blankets :P

We´ll see if I get work tomorrow, otherwise I´m just going to start my class study and do some other good things! If I don´t get any work tomorrow I´ll definitely take a walk! I have to!

Concert with Loci Stella

Hello!

The concert was good. I almost said really good, but that wasn´t true. It was okay, but not awesome. I think maybe I´ll like gospel more, where you can dance and have more fun. They were really good, maybe just not my kind of music. The song I liked the most was Super Trouper by Abba, they did that one really good! :)

Later on I´m going to watch a movie with daddy. I think it was Shanghai Knights on TV tonight, so we´re probably going to watch that one.

Saturday

Hello!

Finally weekend! Love that! Today I took mom to Visby, she is going to sing with her choir. So in five minutes I´m going to Visby to listen to them. The have a jubilee, 25 years or something like that. Then tonight I´m going to see if there are any good movies on TV or something.

Tomorrow it´s Fathers Day here so we´re going to granma and grandpa to celebrate that and also to celebrate grandpa 75th birthday! Big family dinner!

Dinner in Stonechurch

Good Evening!

I went ot visit my friend Malin in Stonechurch (the translation just as it it, souns a little funny in English) and had dinner with her family. Really nice catching up on old times and memories. Then we watched Idol and chatted girl things :P I went home during the break in Idol and watched the last part at home. Seriously, it´s a big flop that Eddie didn´t go tonight. He was really bad tonight, no good singing at all.

Another day of work

Hello!

I´ve been working today too, that´s why there is no update. Yesterday I was so tired I fell alseep before ten :P At least I got a good night sleep before today. Still I´m very tired no. Kids in 7th grade really now how to mess up your head. I think it went quite well though. Worked out a little better than I thought it would.

Tonight I´m heading to a friends house for dinner with her and her family. Haven´t seen her in a really long time so that´s going to be great :) Looking forward to that!

Tomorrow I´m hoping for a little less active day, I know that I´ve been lazy for a long time. But these two days kind of killed me, haha. What if I have to work every day next week, I´ll never get up after that, haha! Wish me luck!

First day of work

Hello!

So this morning I got called in to work. Yey :) It was a school very close to me, like five minutes, so that was very convenient. I had three gym classes and then I helped out at the day care. It was a little bit nervous and kind of tricky when 20 kids decides they´re not going to listen to a word of what you´re saying. I´m totally fine with two kids, but 20. Well, it turned out okay and with some practice I´ll rock :P Tomorrow I´m going to another school, older kids, so at least the won´t scream like that, but will they listen? Hm:/
Now I´m very tired and I have a head ache after doing something all day. I´m not used to this. At least it´s Friday tomorrow and then weekend so I´ll get couple days rest. Then hopefully lots of work next week!
I´m going to make some dinner now! Bye!!

Three letters

Hello again :)

Today something´s actually been happening in my life! I got some work on Friday and I´m hoping to get tomorrow too. But I´ll know that when they call me tomorrow morning, if they do! I hope so :)

I also got three letters in the mail today. Very exciting since I never get any letters. One was a study they wanted me to do. I did it! Then I got one from the school where I´m going to take a class. It´s online but I needed some information that I got. The last letter was a note that I had a package to pick up. That´s a book I need for the class so not that exciting, but still! Three letters, doesn´t happen every day, haha :P

Now I´m going to see if it´s something good on TV. Also, for some reason, looking forward to drink a big cup of really cold water. I´m soooo thirsty!

Early morning?

Goodmorning!

This morning I had set my alarm so I shouldn´t oversleep since I have an interview. Just because I set it, it feels like I´m up very early and I feel good, but then I realized that I´ve been waking up at 9 every other morning too, so i´t´s the same thing, haha :P Took away my good feeling about that.

I´ve been eating breakfast and just straightened my hair. I´m getting ready soon and then I´m off to Visby.

Now when I looked out my window, I saw it was snowing. So weird, it´s the beginning of November. But okay, if the snow want´s to come. It just means that it´s freaking chilly outside! Brrrr!

Quite a busy day

Hello!!

I went to see me aunt and cousin around noon and then I stayed there for dinner! It´s always a pleasure hanging out with them. Then, before I went home, I did grocery shopping for mommy and then I went home, took a quick shower and went to the choir practice. It was good and I learned three new songs :D

I need to go to bed now since I´m going to an interview tomorrow. Need my sleep tonight! But I´ll see you tomorrow and let you know how it went :)

Powerpoint

Hello!

Haven´t done much since I got up. I started with breakfast and now I´ve been finishing a powerpoint thing I did about my trip. Don´t really know why I did it, but if someone want to see it´s there, haha :P

Maybe I´ll visit my little cousin today, don´t know yet, otherwise I´m guessing I´m going to do nothing :P Again! Anyway, tomorrow I´m finally going to that interview. Wish me luck :)

Now I think I´m going to read in my photography book and learn something new :)

New desktop

Hello!

I just did a new desktop for my laptop. I was sitting looking at pcitures and realized how happy I got when I watched the ones of the kids. I smiled for no other reason than the fact that the had smiles on their faces. That´s why I ended up with this. It´s just happiness!

Beautiful, wonderful and joyful kids! They make me smile :)

Hi again :)

Here are finally some pictures from Saturday when we went to GGN. They´re not that good, but I tried a new technique and it was tricky. Plus I wasn´t supermotivatied to try for really good pics that day. I was just enjoying the race!
There are also some other pictures that I´ve been shooting the last week.

This part of the course is called "the shoe" and every year it´s the muddiest part which means the best part to see. Most people are watching this part.

This is just one of my test picture. I´m reading a book about exposure right now and I took a bunch of pictures to try everything out. Since I love roses this one will make it the blog even though it´s kind of a boring one. I just love the roses :)

First thing. Today it´s my wonderful hostmum´s birthday. Happy Birthday to her! Hope you´re having a great day.

My head is a little better today, I can still feel it, but I don´t want to lay in bed another day so I just don´t care about it today. I´ll probably go to Visby later and then tonight hang out with my family.

Wishing for a better day

The head ache has been here all day and I feel like going under. Maybe not, but I want to sleep and wake up full of energy. I really hope it´s gone tomorrow or I´ll be crazy. I have done nothing today, and that´s true, really nothing. Been reading like 200 pages in the book I´m reading right now and listening through Owl City´s three albums about 5 times on Spotify. I´m lucky they´re all so good!

Now I´m going to bed and hoping for a better day tomorrow! I´m going to Visby to meet Josef, Jippie :)

Heah ache

Hello!

Sorry for the bad update today but I´ve been spending most time in bed trying not move while my head hurts it best. It´s like it is really trying to hurt me. Not very nice at all!

I got to talk a little bit with my family in the US this morning. They had been out celebrating Halloween last night and were pretty tired, but it was so good seeing them again! Miss you guys<3

Maybe I´ll upload some pics later, but right now my head doesn´t enjoy sitting in front of the computer.
