Done!

Hello :)

I just finished the chapter of this week in my course. Felt so good to get that out of my way now. Tomorrow´s going to be busy and I don´t want to have it over the weekend. Now I can relax a little bit at least!

Tonight I think I´m going to one of my brother´s friends for a New Year party. Well, he´s my friend too actually. My little brother is coming too so I think it´ll be nice :)
Now I´m going to pack some more, then take a shower and get ready for the night! See you all later, xoxo

2009 Summarized - last part

Okay, goodmorning!
I really didn´t want to get out of bed today, but I feel I have a lot to do so I just had to get up!
Anyway I´m going to give you the last part of my year thingie! Enjoy :)

Ok, last time I stopped right after the goodbye dinner with my American family and I was about the get on a two week trip in California. Just days before this Emma came to my house and we had a photoshoot! Got a lot of nice pics of her and this is a favorite :)


Those two weeks turned out to be so much more than I could ever imagine. I visited so many places and saw the most beautiful things. I met wonderful people that I hope I´ll know forever and I really felt like it was the perfect end of my year! Here some of my favorites from the trip!

Then I went back to Sweden and saying goodbye to my American family was the hardest thing I´ve ever done. I wasn´t sure when I was going to see them again, and it was hard thinking that the kids would grow older without me.

Back in Sweden I was happy to see my family and friends again, even though I was constantly thinking back at my time in the US. After a while I started working as a sub teacher sometimes. It gave me something to do and best of all, it gave me money! Here are some pics from what I´ve been doing!

Recently I decided to move to Göteborg right after New Years and live together with one of my best friends, Alice. I finally got to see her this Christmas after almost one and a half year apart!

There was just no way I could have summarized this year any shorter, it has just contained so much that will be with me forever. Realizing I have done all this during one year feels incredible and I´m so thankful that I got the opportunity to get this experience!
I want to thank my parents for encouraging me all the time and always believe in me. Also want to thank my family in the states for being so wonderful and good to me. You are the best host family possible and I love and miss you every day! I´m longing for the day when I get to see and hug you again. One last thanks to my friends that have always been there!

Okay, I´m not going to get more emotional than I already am, haha :P This turned out to be very long and sometimes sad! But now I´m looking forward to a new year starting in Göteborg with Alice! Let´s see where it ends!

Hello!

We came home really late which means it´s a new day now and it´s New Years Eve! Still I am going to bed to sleep, tomorrow I´ll probably sleep a little longer, but then I have to pack and clean and cook and blabla...

It was really nice dinner tonight. One of their kids I´ve been knowing since I was little, and we don´t get to see each other that often anymore so it was great catching up with them again! We got really good food and played some games and jusy hung out :) had a great time! I got to be designated driver for mom and dad so I´m pretty tired now, it´s an hour away so it was a long drive too. But now we´re home, ready for bed! Just going to snuggle now, hihi :P

Now, I, mom and dad are going to visit some old friends that we may see once a year or so. But it´s going to be really nice to see them again, was a long time ago since I´ve been away! Tomorrow is New Years Eve, we´re getting company and I´ll try to pack as much as possible!

Goodmorning!

Wow, it´s only two days left of this year, that feel a little weird. I have a lot to do today. Going to pack some more, or try to put most of my stuff in boxes. Then I have to clean, do some laundry, finish my reading. Maybe I´ll go to Visby to meet up with some friends and shop with mom, and I also want to put up the last post of my year. Have to do that tomorrow otherwise. Which I could do to. We´ll see how much time I´ll have today.

Hello :)

Today has definitely not been a busy day, but now as I´m sitting here, it feels like it has been :P Weird right? Anyways, I managed to pack 2 boxes today and make a huge mess in my room! Tomorrow I´ll try to pack my clothes and some other stuff. Also has to do a whole weeks reading of my course if I don´t want to do that New Years Eve!

Tonight I fixed my new adress in Göteborg and that felt great :) Seriously, can´t believe I´m moving in 4 days, it´s crazy! It´s going to be a whole new life, so different. But I´m really excited. Ok, have to write down some stuff now but I´ll see you in the morning :)

I´m really frustrated right now. Trying to learn how to work with Excel right now but I´m stuck. Gaaaah!!
Have to finish some of this reading today because I don´t have to much time left this week. Then I have to start packing today too! And maybe I´ll go to Visby to meet up with Josef, we´ll see.

Hello :)
I´m going to bed in just a minute, going to watch some Scrubs before I sleep tonight. I drank a cup of coffee before, not the best before going to bed, haha :P

My kids called me on Skype tonight, like a half hour ago! Oh, it was so great to see them. Big D was actually sitting in front of the computer talking for 10 minutes! Made me so happy to see them and I realized how crazy much I miss them. Sometimes it just feels so wrong that I´m sitting here when I´m supposed to be over there, with them. It´s the sucky thing with having two families, can´t be with them both all the time! But I know I´ll see them again soon!

2009 Summarized

Hey! Here´s the next part, it was supposed to be together with the first one, but somehow I messed it up with the codes. The last part will come later in the week I think! Enjoy :)

The summer came and brought my parents over the Atlantic. Mom, dad and Mattias stayed for two weeks while I had vacation and we tried to see as many things as possible in those two weeks. It was two great weeks and we also had time to go to NYC and they´ve got to experience the city by themselves!

After they left I had the whole summer with the kids and we spent a lot of time at the pool, playing, making movies and enjoying the nice weather and friends. I and my friends went tubing twice, watched movies, had BBQ´s and just hung out with each other. I decided that I was going home after my year, and I planned a month of travelling before going back to Sweden. In August I started to feel panic for leaving and tried to spend time with the family, kids and closest friends. I packed out my room, had a great and crazy goodbye party at Borre´s house and then I went to California by myself for two weeks.

2009 Summarized

This year has probably been one of the best years of my life, but also one of the hardest. I´ve done so many great things, I´ve got to see and experience more than I ever could imagine and I met people that mean the world to me. I´ve also had to say goodbye to a lot of things, and people, which has been the hardest thing I´ve ever done. I thought I was going to summarize the year with some of the things I remember the most!

The year started different from any other. I was in Johnstown, Pennsylvania with my host family to spend time with my host dad´s family. They were amazing people and I´m so glad I got to meet them and be there with them. Couple of weeks later it was time for my 20th birthday. Also different from any other, got the biggest cake ever and celebrated with my friends. The same day I met Julia L for the first time, one of the best girls I know. The day after, Julia and I went to DC to see the Inauguration concert We Are One. The feeling we felt from being at that place at that time was incredible. The hope that was in the air when Obama entered the stage and the enthusiasm from the people, you could almost touch it. It sure was a good way to celebrate that I was 20!

A month later another Julia came into my life, also one of the best girls! I´m so glad I got to know both of the Julia´s! We are amazing!
We had a super bowl party at our house, because of the Steelers being in it. And the Steelers won for the 6th time which made them historic. Around the same time I also reached half time in the US and started to feel the pressure.

In March I and Elin went to New York City and spent an awesome weekend hanging out in the big apple. Love you girl! We all went to DC for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival to watch the beautiful Cherry Trees and take pictures of them. During the spring I went to two college classes at NOVA community college, a different and good experience.

Goodmorning :)

Monday today, I love that it´s the kind of Monday when you don´t feel pressure of work or school. It´s a relaxing Monday :) We are going to Visby to see if we can find something on the sale! Would be nive to buy something cheap for myself :P Haha!

Later today I´ll try to put up the first part of my year summarize! There´s going to be a lot of pics with that!

Family

Hello :)

We had a part of dad´s family over for lunch. It was really nice and we played a game together that I really enjoyed. After that Emelie came over, haven´t seen her in a year and a half so it was good to see her again! Hopefully I´ll see her more after I move, it´s closer at least.
Tonight I´m going to try to organize some stuff for my packing and tomorrow I have to start!

Hello :)

Now it´s six days till I move, tomorrow I have to start packing or at least try to find some of the stuff I don´t know where it is. I am going to forget something anyway, I know it, but I can try right?

Today we´re getting geusts for lunch so we are cooking and cleaning a little. Setting the table and that kind of stuff. We´re going to have salmon, potatoes and mummy´s best sauce! Love it :)

The year of 2009

Hello :)

I´ve been trying to somehow summarize this year and put some text together to post on the blog. It´s not going to come now but I´m working on it, and it seems like it´s going to be pretty long. I just can´t make it shorter, this year have been speical. So I´m probably going to split "the story" in different parts and add pictures. This is the real problem, I was just taking out pictures that I wanted to put in this year thing. After I was done I had over 120 pictures, maybe that´s a little to much I thought and took some of them away. Now I´m down to 94, still that´s to much. But I don´t want to take one of them away, they are all such a part of my year. Well, I´ll do more tomorrow.
I´ll probably put these posts up during the week since it´s going to take a while for me. Between all the packing and boxing I guess!

Pillowswing

Hello :)

Laaaazy day! When we came home from Visby we ate lunch/dinner (don´t know what to call it at three) and then we started a movie. This time it was New in Town with Reneé Zellweger, don´t know how to spell her name, but.. It was kind of, I don´t know, not so good I would say but I laughed a few times. I expected something better, but all movies can´t be good I guess. Since then I´ve just been sitting here doing kind of nothing.
Found some old movies from my last month in the states and also found one of the best statements on one of them. Little D was very mad and sad he was going to take a pillowswing so I ask him: D, what is a pillowswing. The answer is: A pillowswing is a pillow.. that you take, a pillow from your bedroom and... then you, you sleep on the swing. Haha, it´s so cute. He was really trying to figure it out himself at the same time explain it to me. I was lauging so hard!

Now I´m going to go downstairs and see if there is anything good on TV. And eat something, I´m hungry!!

Goodmorning :)

Today is boxing day and last day of Christmas! It has been a pretty good Christmas this year. I got to spend time with the people I love the most and just enjoy being home.
Can´t believe it´s a week till I move. Then I wont be living in this house anymore, I´m brining all of my stuff, so it´s not like I´m coming back home to anything, well, my family, but you see my point. I´m really moving away from home this time. Weird, but it´s going to be fun!
This week is going to be all about packing and boxing my things, I´m probably going to be crazy, because things wont fit. I just know it, haha :P

Today I and mom are going to Visby to play badminton while the guys are going to the gym. We felt like we needed some exercise after all this food :P

Movie day

Hey there!

We just watched the third movie of the day. Slumdog Millionare. It´s my third time watching it, but it such a good movie, I don´t mind watching it again. Love the music and the actors :)
Earlier we also watched The Proposal, but I think I already wrote that :P Can´t keep up, haha!

Soon I´m going to bed, but first I´m going to listen to some Owl City and write a little bit. Feel like that is needed!

Christmas Eve pics

Hello :)

We went to Visby this afternoon for a walk and on the way home we stopped by the videostore and rented some movies. I´ve been waiting to show mom The Proposal and finally we got it. It´s a good movie and I still think that Ryan Reynolds is very good looking, haha :P
Now we just had dinner and soon we´re going to watch another movie, I think it´ll be Slumdog Millionare this time. My third time but it´s a good movie and the other ones haven´t seen it yet.

Also, I got to see my family and kids in America before. Was great seeing you guys and so much fun seeing the kids! Miss them every day!
