We´ve been having a lazy day since I got home, real nice! Johan picked up pizza for all of us and then we watched Narnia. I never saw it before and I thought it was really good :) Can´t wait to see the next one which he got too :)
Now we´ve been watching some One Tree Hill, we finished OC last week and we just had to start with something new. So now we´re going for One Tree Hill, going to be long since it´s 7 seasons now, haha! You are never going to see us again :P

Hello :)
I started the day by spending two hours outside a gym, haha :P They were opening today and had a special offer to buy a gym card for 995 SEK, a year! It was a really good price and I wanted one. They only had 200 of those cards so I was there when they opened with like a hundred other people and waited, and waited, and waited. Booring! But I got a card so I´m really happy :) Probably going there tomorrow for a first work out!
Now I just feel like crawling down under my cover again and snuggle! Maybe I should, haha!!

Good morning!
I´m still in my bed. Playing games and listening to Owl City for the moment :)
Last night was really good. The food was awesome and I was soo full. It was good company of course and we had a great time together. Congrats again Hannah! When we came home the finale in Curling was on. It was Sweden vs Canada. I put my computer on a chair right next to bed and watch it online. I fell asleep pretty fast, but when Sweden won, they started screaming and I woke up again :P At three a clock, haha! But it was cool to get to see them win in the middle of the night. Congrats Sweden to yet another gold :) Last one maybe!
Today I want to be lazy, but we´re going to meet Josef for coffee and maybe I´ll do some shopping. Turns out I got more money than expected this month :) Awesome!!
I´m going to eat breakfast now, my stomach is hurting of hunger!!

I´m just getting ready for heading out the door. Going to Manjana tonight, (it´s supposed to be spelled the spanish you know, with the little thing over the n instead of a j, but I can´t find it), a tapas place here in Göteborg! We´re celebrating Hannah who turned 26 last Sunday! Congrats girl :D

Got home from work and hour ago. Had some snack and watched Scrubs! I was pretty tired after today so it was nice to be lazy, or it Is nice :P

Wow, this sure turned out the be a late post even though it´s the first today. Anyway, I´ve been busy, that´s why! I worked from 8-4 and then I got home, I and Alice made dinner. Then Josef came over here and we´ve been sitting talking for hours. It was great to see him again and as always, time is just flying by. Now I´m going to sleep, work tomorrow too at the same place and the same time. Then tomorrow evening we´re going for dinner downtown. Hannah´s birthday was this Sunday so we´re going to celebrate her :)

Yet another gold!
Hey there :D
Sweden just got another gold in the Olympics. It´s the sprint relay for men. We watched only the finish, it was awesome! Go Sweden!! We rock :)
Today I went up pretty early and had a lazy morning before I cleaned the apartment and baked some cookies. They turned out to be really yummie! At four when Alice finished work I went there and we did grocery shopping. Now we´ve been having her sister and her boyfriend over for dinner! Nice with some company.
I´ve booked tickets for going to Stockholm next week. We´re going to celebrate my dad who is turning 50. Just hang out with the family, can´t wait to see them again!
Hope I get some work tomorrow, if not, I´ll hang out with Josef, who is in town!

Vanilla whip cream with Daim
Hello :)
We just came home after a nice dinner with the girls. It was I, Alice and the Hannas. They will just go with that name now, it´s like when I say the Julias. Love to have friends with the same name :P
Anyway, we got to see Hanna´s apartment, it was really cute, and she made a really nice dinner for us. On top of it all, she also had made dessert. It was frozen vanilla whip cream with pieces of Daim in it. It was really yummie :) Something I can eat again, haha :P
Now I´m getting ready to go to bed, I´m hoping for work tomorrow, because I have no other plans! Please call me, haha :P

Been working till 2 now I´m home. It was perfect working 8-2, just 6 hours and now I can be home all afternoon. Tonight we´re going to have dinner with Hanna and Hanna :) Looking forward!
Have to tell you another thing. This Sunday I decided to stop eating candy, again. I´m doing it sometimes to get my sugar cravings away. Figured I´m eating way to much sweets now so I`m going to cut it off for a while! Wish me luck :P Hehe!

I woke up at seven and remembered Sweden was playing hockey this morning, evening over in Vancouver. The game just finished and Sweden won over Finland with 3-0! Good for us and now the next game is on Wednesday :)
Seems like I´m getting no work today so I´m planning on cleaning the apartment, go for a walk and see if I can get a gym card! Now I`m going to make some breakfast, I´m hungry!

Watching the Olympics and making dinner right now. I´m making soup today, our favorite one :) Alice is having some trouble getting home from work because of all the snow but I hope she´ll be here soon :)
Today I´ve been watching a bunch of Scrubs episode, also took a walk trying to get some photos. But I ended up getting lost and cold so I never got any :P After that I talked to mom and dad and watched some more TV, took a shower and now I´m making dinner. A very lazy Sunday. Hoping I´m getting work tomorrow, otherwise I´ll be sooo bored :P

We just finished watching Troy, started last night but then we ended up watching the Olympics instead so now we finished the movie.
Today Alice is working again, I´m thinking about going for a walk with my camera but it´s like -14 C outside so I don´t feel like going out there. Maybe it will get warmer, I hope so :)

Tonight I´m proud

We just watched the skiing. Think it was the mens skiathlon or something. It was really exciting and we got both gold and bronze! Marcus Hellner and Johan Olsson did a good job and got medals for us tonight.
I remember to weeks ago when I was sitting here watching "melodifestivalen" and saying I was ashamed of being Swedish. Tonight it´s the opposite, I´m so proud of being Swedish! Good job guys :)

I just made it home and I survived the snow storm outside. Seriously, it´s ridicoulous! Since yesterday morning it has come at least 40 cm of snow and it just keeps snowing. As I wrote yesterday I had my job interview today and I went up early so that I had time to get there. Of course all the buses and cable cars were a mess so I had to walk like half the way. But I made it in time, even though a little sweaty, haha :P
Anyway, the interview went good. At least it felt good! Now I´m waiting for an answer and hopefully a second interview! Really want the job so I´m crossing my fingers!
Now I´m going to make lunch! I´m so hungry :)

Back from work, it has been a long day. One of the kids got sick and had to go home. I really hope I wont get it now, but I have been feeling a little weird. Really can´t get sick, I have a job interview on Saturday. Have to go to that one and hopefully get the job!!

Just wanted to say goodnight. We´ve been watching the Olympics, the swedes didn´t do too good tonight. Ended up with fourth place and stuff like that. But there´s also a hockey game tonight! Go Sweden! I have to go to bed though, working at 8 tomorrow, have to get up at 6.30 so goodnight people!

I´m home from work and it´s so nice to be somewhere it´s quiet. No screams or noises or hammering. It has been a tough day, the kids I was with are pretty hard to deal with. But it was okay, I´m going back tomorrow so I´m hoping it´ll be fine.
Tonight I´m looking forward to relaxing in front of the TV. Both OC and the Olympics will come on on my TV tonight at least! Now we´re going to make some dinner, I´m really hungry!

Wow, next golden medal!

Last post for the night. We´ve just been watching the final of biathlon for men. It was really nerv recking, sooo exciting. And the swedish Björn Ferry won! It was the best race, just can´t believe it! And I´m kind of weeping again, they just presented them, haha :P But I´m just so happy! Go Sweden :)
Now I`m going to bed, I´ll see you all tomorrow! Sleep good and congrats Björn Ferry!!

I´ve been watching a summary from the Olympics last night. Our swedish girl Charlotte Kalla won the skiing! Awesome and congrats to her. But as I was watching it I felt how I was kind of weeping. Haha, it just made me so happy to see that she got to win and be so happy. They were showing when she got her medal and from the interviews and it was just so.. I don´t know! But it was good and I´m glad that we got a gold :) Tonight we´re hoping for some more success!
Elin just gave me a math problem that she wants me to solve. I tried but it was like 2 years since I did this kind of stuff so it was really hard. I´ll give it some time and see later!

Just got home from work a little while ago. It was a great day and I really liked the day care center I´ve been to these days. Hope I can get back there. Tomorrow I´m going back to another one though! Just loved the place I´ve been to this week, they are so nice there and the kids are so sweet! Alice got home and we made a really good dinner together! While we ate we watched OC, what else? hehe :P Now we´re getting ready to go to bed, tomorrow´s Monday and hopefully I´ll get some work. If I don´t I have a meeting with my job coach. We are going to sit down and read my CV and he´s going to help me with it :)
Then in the evening we´re going for a movie night at Hanna´s place. I think we are going to watch Braveheart, because neither me or Alice have seen it. After I´ve heard that´s a movie you have to see.

Hey!
Already Sunday and I´m getting ready to go to bed now. Watched the Olympics for a while and now I´ve been fighting with my blog for a while. It´s not going to be this layout I think, but I´m to tired to change now. It´s not working the way I want it. So it´ll look like this till tomorrow!

The Olympics
Good evening!
Have been watching "Melodifestivalen". It sucked today too. Didn´t like any of the songs. After a while I did the dishes instead :P
Now I´m going to watch the Olympics. It´s biathlon and we have to really good Swedes! Really think they can have a chance for a medal :) Go Go Sweden!!

Hello :)
I know it´s Saturday and I could have been blogging earlier, but it didn´t cross my mind yet today.
Today we have been to Alice aunt for her birthday. It was really nice and good food, hehe :P Now Alice went to her boyfriend and I´m going to spend the night by myself. Going to be pretty nice actually, watching the Olympics and "melodifestivalen". Just have to figure out what to eat, not hungry yet, but I have to eat something or I will just fill myself with candy. Which would be baaad!!

Hey there :)
It´s Friiiiday, wow finally weekend! I worked till five today, it has been a really good day. The kids we had today are great and just soo cute! Also one of the staff there told me she thought I did a really good job with the kids! Made me so happy, maybe I made the right choice? :)
Tonight we´re going to stay home with a movie and some good food! Alice is working late so we´re having dinner around nine! Tomorrow I´ll see what´s happening but I´m going to try to get out for a walk and also go downtown to find a battery. I need a special one, it´s really small and I don´t really know where to find it. It´s a project, haha :P

Fireflies spinning in my head
Hey again!
I made the dishes, cleaned up my room and folded all the laundry from yesterday! Now everything feels great and I feel like a can relax a bit on the couch :)
Fireflies came on on Sportify anad every time I listen to it I´m amazed that I love it that much. The closer to the end it´s coming, the more I hate it. I never want it to end. I can just listen to it over and over and over again. But I don´t want Alice to hate me so I´m not going to put in on repeat :P
Every time I listen to Fireflies it always reminds me of San Fran! I was just crazy about the song at the time and couldn´t stop playing it on my iPod! I bet I listened to it at least 25 times a day :P

Work today, another day care center! It was good and I´m going back tomorrow! Feels good that it´s Friday. This is the first time I´ve been working five days in a row in like 2 months :P Starting to get to it. Really hope I´ll get work for next week too! Need the money.

Reverse Culture Shock
Hello, or goodnight maybe!
I´m going to sleep in a moment but I´m talking to Julia on MSN right now. It´s weird thinking she is going through the same thing as I did this fall. Just remember how confused I was being in Sweden again, thinking I was going back to the US the next week or something. It was nice being home, but the first weeks it just felt like vacation, like I was going back.
Like four years ago a proffessor that I know told me one thing. He said that if I were about to go to the states and stay there for a while he knew how it was going to be. He said that it was going to be hard to go there, I was going to miss home and feel weird. But then get used to it, get a life there and get comfortable. And when it was time to head back home it was going to be the opposite, just ten times worse. It´s called reverse culture shock. And now I know for a fact that its true. When he told me I was like, yeah, whatever, it will always feel better at home. But truth is, it doesn´t. You always want what you can´t have!
Ok, I feel this is getting blurry, definitely time for some sleep now! See you tomorrow :)

Just had some dinner. I made pasta with a bacon stew kind of thing. Watched Friends while I ate it, yummie :) It was really good and I was hungry but I´m not anymore!
Now I´m going to write an important email and I think Julia is calling me soon! Awesome, can´t wait to talk to her :)

Been working till six again so I´m really tired. I and Alice have had dinner, watched an episode of OC and now we just put up some photos on the wall in her room. It´s looking real pretty, maybe I´ll show you a pic on it someday!
Tomorrow I´ll be off at four, it´s going to be nice to be home a little earlier!

I´ve been working today, that´s why no blogging. Worked between 10 and 6, long day, but it was okay. The last two hours I had to kids to watch and they were playing by themselves and I was drinking coffee :) Tomorrow I´ll do the same thing except I´ll start at nine, earlier! Long day, but worth it, money money :)
I´m going to bed now, am really tired. But I´ll be back tomorrow night when I get home!

This has been a weird Sunday with a lot of feelings. But everything feels okay now and I´m just waiting for Alice to come home so we can eat "semlor" :P I already made buns so we just have to fill them with almond paste and whip cream :) Looking forward!!

Good morning :)
I woke up an hour ago but I just couldn´t get out of bed. So I did some reading. Right now I´m reading a book by Jodi Picoult, the author of "My sisters keeper". But now I´m reading "19 minutes". It´s a very tragig story, but the book is good!
I was thinking maybe I was going to bake something today. Maybe cupcakes or "semlor", hehe :P We´ll see. I´ll surprise Alice with something :)

Yavapai Point
Hello :)
I´ve been watching Melodifestivalen tonight and seriously, I´m a little ashamed of Sweden right now. I´m proud being from here and all, but it´s just. That was the worst television ever. The hosts were terrible, their jokes was just not funny. And only one of the songs were good, luckily that was the song to move on to the finals! Salem Al Fakir, I haven´t been listening to him much, but he is really good!
Also been looking at pictures from the US today. It has been a missing-the-US-day. But I got to talk to my family before and also talked the Julias! Always so great to see the kids and talk to them. Just miss them and getting crazy because I can´t be there and hug them. Anyway, what I was going to say was that this name popped up in my head. Yavapai Point, the title! It´s the name of a point in the Grand Canyon and I remember hearing the first time and falling in love. Isn´t it the most beautiful, Yavapai point! I just love saying it :)

Good morning :)
Had a really good night sleep so I feel rested today! We´re going to do some grocery shopping, go for a walk and then go to a second hand store to see if we find anything interesting for the apartment!
Tonight I´ll be home alone, but it´s going to be nice to relax and watch a movie or something.
I´ll give you a pic of the pretty girl I saw last night! Old friend of mine, met her in 2004 :)

It has been a long day and I´ll tell you soon. But first I have to say Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend Elin! She is turning 22 today and I hope she had a great day. Well, I know she did because I called her :P Hehe!
Anyway, I´ve been working today. Got off work at around five, went home, ate a sandwich and then I went to a little place outside of Göteborg to watch a Gospel concert. My friend Maja was in the choir and we haven´t seen each other for over a year so it was amazing to see her again :) And it was an awesome concert too!
I´m really tired now, it´s been a long day and I haven´t been home anything so I´m really looking forward to the weekend now!

Been working today. Just got home ten minutes ago. It has been a good day, we were outside most of the time and kids are so much easier to handle outside, haha :P At least when they can´t run away! Going to work the same shift tomororw, it´s nice to be able to sleep in a little bit.

I´m home from work, feel exhausted. Being with 20 kids all day really tire you. But it´s great too, they give you so much joy and happiness! I´m going back tomorrow and Friday too and I´m happy! Money :)
Now I´m going to relax and watch some TV and later on it´s time for laundry. We have a lot today so it´ll take some time!

One month!

Alice came home earlier than she was supposed to, so we had a dinner :) It was yummie and of course we watched OC!! We´re going to watch another episode soon I think, we´re just taking a break!
I got work tomorrow, did I tell you earlier? I think I did, but anyway, it was early so I´m going to try to sleep early too. But then I´ll be off at two tomorrow, which will be great and I´ll have the evening to myself.
Also, now I´ve been living in Göteborg for exactly a month. Feels great and I´m really glad I moved here. I love living here with Alice and it´s great to have friends around again. Now I just can´t wait until my girls get back from the US :) But they are coming soon, unbelieveable!!

Snow, snow and more snow
Hey again!
I´m back from the meeting and I´ve been eating lunch and made all the dishes from yesterday! Feel good :) I feel really tired now though, still have a cold which makes me tired.
The meeting was good. It was about ten people there that is going to be in different teams and work together. The whole point is that we together are going to help each other finds jobs and get them. Like push each other and help each other. Seems good. Next time we´re going to meet with the team so I´m looking forwar to that!
On the way home they called from the pre school and I get to work tomorrow, maybe more. But I´ll start seven tomorrow, early! But I´m just thinking: Money :P

Alice is home and that fact makes me feel a lot better :) We´ve been looking at pictures that we want to put on the wall. Or she wants to put them on her wall, hihi :P
Now we´re going to buy some stuff for tonight and then we´re going to have some friends over for dinner! Going to be really nice on a Monday.

Goodmorning..
I´m having a crappy morning. I slept really bad tonight, felt like I had a fever and just kept turning around. Then I woke up at eight and just couldn´t go back to sleep. So now I´m really tired and have just been sitting here.
Some days are just harder than others, some days memories come back and it hurts. I miss the US so much right now and it´s hard to explain why, but it just hurts inside me. The worst part is than I can´t cry, I feel the tears right inside my eyes, but they just wont come out. Don´t get it!
Well, I´m not going to get you more miserable than I am, I´ll get back later when I´m feeling better. Now I should try to do something even though I just feel like crawling back to bed and hide.
