The Vegas

Hey there!

It´s been the laziest Sunday. We´ve been watching at least 6 episodes of OC. After a couple we made an effort and cleaned up the apartment. Made the dishes and so on, ate some food!

Now I´m listening to Owl City!! And remembering good times in The Vegas (as they say in OC :P) Something just made me think about the little restuarant right next to our hotel. Cocos I think it was called. We ate breakfast at 3.30 am after going out that night, haha :P

Goodmorning!

I´m still in bed, haha. It got pretty late last night so I didn´t sleep until four and now I´ve been laying here clicking on the computer for a while. Maybe I should get up and eat something.
Anyway, last night was a good time. We went to Sara and Jonas for there moving in party. It was nice and I met a lot of new people :) We were jsut hanging out and talking and singing. Around one we decided to go out so we made a short visit to Hard Rock Café before we went home! We had a good time :) Maybe some pics will come later, I don´t know if there is any pics on my camera :P

Today we´re just going to be lazy, I mean it´s Sunday! Probably watch a bunch of OC and eat snacks :P Haha! See you later :) Love

Gooood morning!

Didn´t feel so good when I woke up, but it´s better now. I´ve been laying on the couch watching Scrubs, eating some breakfast. I hope I´ll feel better later, because it´s a party tonight! Really don´t want to feel sick, but I guess somehow that´s not up to me :P

Tonight it has been like - 16 C here. Freaking cold. So I thought I was going to upload some pics from last year, the only snowdays we had. I and the kids were outside playing!

Hello!!

Been working all day, my last day at the day care center. It has been really good working there :)
The whole day I´ve had the worst head ache and felt like I have a fever, so it has been pretty hard. But it was not too bad. Now when I came home I slept for two hours and now I feel much better. I´m going to get ready and then go to Hannah´s place for some food, drinks and nice company :)

Back from work, the early shift wasn´t too bad. There were only two kids in the morning and then the other staff came! It was just hard to get up at five!!
Now I`m going to relax for a while, feel like I could sleep, maybe a nap? Also have some snack and wait for Alice to get home. She´s working late tonight, but I´ll make her some dinner :) I´m nice, ha? :P

Aloe and cucumber

Hey there :)

Now I got some food in me, yey :) Also saw one episode of OC, took a shower, straightened my hair so I feel satisfied, haha :P We´re going to watch another episode of OC, then probably go to bed since I´m starting so early tomorrow!

I´ve bought a new lotion and I thought I was going to get the same one I had in the US since I liked it. And I found what I thought was the same one, Vaseline with Aloe. But when I used it the first time it really smelled like cucumber, and when I looked at the bottle so it said: With Aloe and cucumber! I was a bit surprised because the bottle looks the same. I do like the smell though, every time you buy something that´s supposed to smell like cucumber it never does. But this one smells a lot like cucumber! I like it :)

Sorry for no pics in a long time, but there´s just no inspiration to be found at the time. They will come!!

Hiiii!

Haha, just saw that I mixed up the dates yesterday. It said 24 but it actually was the 26! Confusing :P

Worked today, it was pretty good, it has been all snowy outside so mostly we stayed inside. I got to stay the week out at the day care center so I´m really happy. That means two more days of work! Four days this week, not bad at all :) Tomorrow I´ll start at 6.30 though, veeery early, but hey, I´m thinking about the money :P

Now we have laundry time, so it´s just to head to it! See you later :) kisses

Hey hey!!

I got work today so I´m really happy but also exhausted. When you´re not used to working you get killed, haha :P But I´m going back tomorrow so at least I got two days. I hope for Thursday too, but we´ll see! Now I´m going to make some dinner, sit down on the couch and just relax. Really need it and feel like I deserve it too :)

Scrubs marathon

Hello :)

Alice went to Kungälv so I had the night to myself. Been watching Scrubs for three hours, first time I could see that many episodes in a row. But it´s fun :) Also talked to Elin, MC and daddy!

In the afternoon I was at the gym running for a while. It was nice being back at the treadmill. Really wish I had enough money to get a gym card. This week it works because they have a free week. But then I won´t be able to go. Really want some money!! Also applied for two jobs today so I´m hoping! Don´t know what to do tomorrow, but I´ll figure something out!

Now I´m going to watch Miss Secret Agent 2 on TV! Kisses

Kate Voegele - Angel

Hello :)

Listening to Kate Voegele again. Getting really stuck on her latest album. Reminds me of those days in the US when I used to listen to her. Don´t remember exactly when, but I remember sitting in my room. It was good times, I remember having a lot of fun. With my friends, with my family. Enjoying my life to the fullest! Now I got it, I was listening to Kate when I did my scrapbooks. My bed used to be crowded with papers, music on high volume, glue all over my hans and pants. Those were good times, I loved doing my scrapbooks. Looking at the pics all the time!

Now it´s time for bed. Tomorrow´s Monday and I´m going to some things. Actually planning on going to the gym, they have a free week and hey you got to use that right? :P Also apply for some jobs and get some papers in order. It´s time to stop being lazy!!

Firefox Personas

Hello :)

Time has gone pretty fast today, better then yesterday. After I had some lunch I walked to Sara and Jonas and picked up my hard drive. It took 35 minutes to walk there and I walked back too, so I was pretty good! It was over 6 km :) When I came home I watched an episode of Gossip Girl, wanted to watch more, but of course it didn´t work, I´ll try again later.

Now I´m listening to wonderful Kate Voegele and her "A fine mess". Wonderful album! Also just figured that you can change your Firefox browser with different "personas" as they call it. It was really entertaining trying to find my favorie. Already found a few that I loooove! Grand Canyon, New york skyline and Golden Gate Bridge at night. They´re really beautiful and so easy to change you can do it every five minutes if you want. Try it out :)

Status: It´s Sunday, Alice is working and I´m booored.
I´m going to eat some lunch now and then go for a walk even though it´s soo cold outside. I need to do something so I´ll just put a lot of clothes on :P

Hello :)

Alice finally came home at 8.30 and we had dinner together :) Of course we watched OC, but now we´re out of episodes. We haven´t got the other seasons yet and we want to see more. Frustrating. Well, we have to go to bed soon anyway so maybe it´s for the best.

Also have to say again that I love Owl City and Fireflies. I thought I was not going to like the song as much when I got home because it would remind me to much of the US, but I do. I still love and can listen to it over and over again. It´s definitely the most played song on my iTunes, Spotify and iPod! Weird how I can like it so much, but I do!

The Holiday

Been watching The Holiday after I had some lunch. That movie always makes me so happy and I feel like I can do anything. It´s a real power movie for me. And seriously my favorite soundtrack ever. Just listening to the music makes me feel powerful. Just search on Hans Zimmer on Spotify!

Morning :)

I´m a little lazy this morning. Right now watching "So you think you can dance" and at the same time watching vidoes on Youtube, :P I probably should do one thing at a time. Don´t have any plans for today, I´m probably going to be really bored in an hour. I should figure something out, but I don´t feel like doing anything. Maybe I´ll run down to the store, buy some candy and watch movies today!

Homesick

Good evening!

I´ve been editing a picture from San Francisco tonight and I miss it sooo much. These feelings doesn´t come as often anymore, but when they come, they strike right in my heart. It´s like a big bubble inside me waiting to burst, but it never happens and instead it just aches.

I miss all of it, my kids, my family, my car, my room, Starbucks, my friends, I miss all of it! I hate knowing I´ll never get those days back. But I love that there is a little voice inside me saying: Just remember everything you´ve seen and experienced! I´m so happy that I went to live in the states and I´ll always be thankful for everything people have done for me over there! It sure was the best year of my life :)

Now I´m going to bed remembering all the good and happy things I did over there! See you tomorrow, goodnight!

Bowling

Hello :)

I´ve been away all day. Went to Kungälv at noon and Alice picked me up at the bus station. Then we spent the afternoon watching OC and we also took a walk, 5 km actually! We did good :) Then we had dinner with Johan and watched the handball game, Sweden vs Germany. No surprise Sweden lost and are no longer in the European Championship :P Haha!

After dinner we went bowling, which was a lot of fun. I wasn´t that good, well, I was at first, but then I just kept getting worse. But we had a good time and it was fun to do something different for once. I haven´t been playing bowling since before I went to the states. Well, only on the Wii, but that doesn´t really count, does it?

Alice is working this weekend so I don´t have any plans beside not spending any money. Hm, I have to figure something out!

I´m thinking about making these two pics in canvas. What do you think?

Hello!

I just saw that I didn´t blog yesterday and I was like, what, I didn´t. But then I rememberd that I worked yesterday. They called from a day care center in the morning so it was just to rush out there. It was a pretty good day, always a little tricky with new kids but it was okay. I was so happy I got to work a little bit, because it means at least some money :) Still hoping for another job though!

So after I got home yesterday I and Alice had dinner, made our laundry and then went over the her sister to watch "My sisters keeper". For those of you who have read the book and seen the film I bet you were as disappointed as me when the movie has a totally different ending. It was till good though, very sad so we were all sitting there weeping, haha :P

Today I´m going to clean a little bit first, then walk downtown for a meeting. Tonight I´m going to hang with my cousin. Don´t know where that night´s going to end!

Hey there!
Not feeling good at all. Don´t know if we ate something bad or it´s just something else. But I just want to hide somewhere right now. But I´m sitting here on the couch with a blanket, talking to my good friend Josef and watching handball. Sweden is in the lead, but I think they have to work a little harder. It´s pretty close.

Today I went to IKEA, bought some stuff for my closet. Then when Alice finished work I met her downtown and went for a coffee with some other friends. It was a nice afternoon.

Heeeello :)

Today is my birthday and it´s great. We woke up pretty early, even though we didn´t come home until 3. But we had the greatest night, it was so much fun. First we went to a really nice resturant that served mediteranian food. It was really good and I got to choose whatever I wanted. They really had planned it good :) Then we went to a pub before we went to a club for dancing! It was great :) Elin got about 40 people to say Happy Birthday to me, and it was really fun!

Today I and Elin went downtown and took a coffee so we´ve actually been doing something. Now we´re just being lazy and we have to leave for Elin´s bus in about 20 minutes. After that I and Alice are just going to have cozy evening!

Definitely one of the best birthdays so far :) Thanks everybody :)

Hello :)

Just got Elin here from Malmö. Picked her up and now she´s here. Feels so weird seeing her again and and we´re like screaming all the time :P (Well, I mean Elin) :P
We´re going out in a little bit a and then tomorrow we´re going to, hm, I don´t know!

Talked to my kids just now and miss them! They look so big now and acting all differently. But it was great seeing them as usual!

Hello :)

Pheew! I feel good right now. I just finished my last test for the course I´ve been taking. Feels good to be done with it. And I sent it so there is nothing more I can do, than just wait for my grade. Today is Friday and the weekend is coming up. I think it´s going to be a great weekend. Elin is coming and tomorrow we´ll celebrate my birthday and on Sunday it is my birthday :)

Yesterday I and Alice went to her sis for dinner. We got chicken with feta cheese and roasted potatoes, it was sooo good :) After that I got a surprise invite and birthday present to go see Avatar in 3D with Alice and her friends. Thanks so much to Sara who gave me this present! The movie was wonderful, especially in 3D, I didn´t want to leave when it was over. It was definitely a great present, loved it :) When we got home we sat up talking and drinking tea the whole night, almost :P It was a great night!!

Now I´m going to clean my desk, it´s full of paper, actually it´s this full of paper!

Hello :)

This morning I took a walk to print some pictures and I realized it´s not that freaking cold anymore. It´s actually just -2 C right now which is very nice compared to the last days - 12 C. I´m hoping for even warmer days to come :)

Tonight I and Alice are going to her sister for dinner, really nice and we get to see their new apartment. Then tomorrow it´s time for Elin to come :) Can´t wait but also can´t beliebe she´s actually coming tomorrow.

Now I´m going to have some lunch and watch some Sex and the City!

Laundry day

Hello :)

Now I´ve been really good for a while. I cleaned and put stuff away so the apartment looks really good! And I started the laundry, going to hang it up in a little bit. Now I just finished the last assignment in the course I´m taking. So now there´s only a test on Friday and send in the assignment :) Going to feel good when it´s all over.

I´m really excited for this weekend. It´s my birthday, Elin is coming and I get to spend the time with some of my closests friends. My cousin is coming too and they´ve got a surprise, can´t wait to see what!! Hoping it´s going to be a lot of fun :)

Hello :)

This morning was really nice. I woke up at nine and immediately started to read my book. A shopaholic in New York. Yesterday it was really exciting and I didn´t want to stop, but it was late so I had to. Anyway, this morning I had to finish it the first thing I did and it was good! I´m going to buy the next one the next time I see it, haha :P

Now I´ve been out walking a while and now I have to finish my course. It´s not much left and everything is going to be done by Friday.
I thought since there haven´t been any pictures for a while I was going to show you something and I ended up photographing from my kitchen window, haha! But this is how looks outside, on our street!

Happiness

Hello :)

Just talked to my best Swizz buddy on Skype, Anna! Haha :P Miss that girl a lot and always so great talking to her. Hope I get to see you soon :)

Today I was going to the library the first thing, but of course I took the cable car in wrong direction and ended up somewhere else. That cost me a lot of time and I met up Erik for a coffee and some shopping before going to the library. But I got there at least, printed my pages and bought some envelope at Åhlens. Now I´m back home in the warm. It´s so freezing outside, like - 12 C I think. Give me some heat!!

Also talked to my mommy before. Miss her, daddy and my brothers too. It´s weird not seeing them every day. But I think it´ll be okay! I´ll see them again soon when it´s daddys birthday. We´re all going to celebrate it in Stockholm :) Can´t wait to that!

Hello!

We got some Internet now, don´t know for how long, but at least for a while! Yey :) Now it´ll be more updates from this residens.
Tomorrow I´m meeting my cousin Erik downtown for a coffee and also going to the library as I said earlier.

Tonight I and Alice have just been laying on the couch watching TV. First we were zapping the channels and then we watched OC. Also ate some Ben & Jerry´s, the best ice-cream! Yummie :)

An update from Göteborg! It´s Monday and today I actually went downtown to find the tourist information and the library and I found them both :P Good work ha?!
Tomorrow I´ll go around and apply for some work and then I might go to IKEA to find a thing for my closet.

Looking forward to next weekend, it´s my birthday and Elin is coming to visit me! Can´t wait, it´s going to be so much fun! Alice has planned something special for me on Saturday night, a surprise and Elin is coming so it couldn´t be better! And only four days to go :) Yey!!

Hello :)

I´m at the cafe again! I´ll probably spend a lot of time here. Today Alice is working so I´m by myself which is pretty boring. Don´t know what to do. I took a walk today around the closest blocks, and I didn´t get lost :)
I´m going to sit here for a while and writing on applications and stuff. On Monday I´ll try to apply for some more jobs.

It feels so weird that I´m actually here, can´t believe I´m living here now. And it really is a great place. We live right above a huge candy store, haha :P Not good, but I actually haven´t been there yet so I think I´m doing good. And right across the street there is a grocery store and then the cable car is right outside. I love all the cable cars in the town, they are cute and much better to ride on than the metro.

Heeeello :)
I´m alive :)
Everything have been great so far, we unpacked all of our stuff now and the apartment is starting to look really nice! The only thing we don´t have is Internet, so the blogging will be gone for a while. Right now we´re at a Internet café and I´ll try to update as often as I can, but you understand it´s hard. But as soon as we have Internet it´ll be back to normal.
Right now I´m doing my best to get a job and save my money, haha :P I really hope I´ll get a job soon so I can feel like living again, and not just trying to not spend any money!

Pics of the apartment will come, as soon as I have time! Now I have to look for work!

Now it´s my last night at home for a while. I remember the feeling I had right before I went to the US. That I wasn´t going to see the things in my home for a long time. It´s like my mind is trying to memorize all the things, to remember the little details! But I´m, really excited to move, it´s going to be so much fun getting to a new place!

Happy New Year!! Hope you all had a good night yesterday :)

I had a great night, hung out with my brothers and their friends and we had a lot of fun. There was a lot of fireworks at twelve and we got to see some real nice ones.

Today I have to pack all of my stuff because we´re leaving tomorrow morning. It´s weird packing your whole room, it feels so empty in here now and weird with all the boxes around. But I think it´s going to be great to get somewhere new! Another adventure starting now!
